Who We Are

The USF Health School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences is dedicated to "Moving Lives Forward" through the education of students in an inclusive educational, research and clinical environment that embraces diversity, innovation, discovery, knowledge, expertise, leadership, collaboration and partnerships.

Our programs — including the Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, professional athletic training program and orthopaedic residency program — are designed to help students innovate and lead in the fields of health and wellness. Not only do we provide excellent educational opportunities, but we have a growing research enterprise advancing our knowledge, a physical therapy center providing clinical care to patients in the Tampa Bay area, and various service opportunities for faculty and students to give back to our communities.

Our position within the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine fosters unparalleled collaboration, enhancing our educational, clinical care and research efforts. Together we are all "Making Life Better" and "Moving Lives Forward."

This spring, the USF Health School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences will honor the Class of 2026 by presenting each student with their very first white coat, welcoming them to the physical therapy profession and affirming their oath of professionalism. Today, we invite you to invest in these students' dreams by making a gift to sponsor their first white coat.

The Commitment to the Profession Ceremony has become a critical and meaningful annual tradition. It shows our students that from the very beginning of their "Moving Lives Forward" journey, a grateful community has invested in their success and they are not alone as they enter a life dedicated to healing and improving the lives of others.

Your Impact
